Columbus Georgia 2002

Waiting

Because of not enough room inside the courtroom, many supporters spent the day outside waiting.

Waiting....

Defendants in the third floor window. Waiting.

And waiting....

Sr Dorothy Pagosa, 8th Day Center of Justice in Chicago and Tom Bottolene SOA10 in the hot Georgia sun outside the Courthouse.

And waiting...

On the first day of the trial several supporters witnessed outside the gates to Fort Benning, careful not to cross the line.

Kathy Cardell of Syracruse, NY also at the gate.

Defendant John Heid, activist living at Anathoth Community Farm in Wisconsin and formerly a Loaves and Fishes Community member in Duluth, Minnesota.

Defendant Erik Johnson and his wife, Libby, active with the Oak Ridge Peace Alliance in Tennesse.

Another year, another trial, and the lampost remained perfectly safe under the careful eye of US Marshals and DoD Police.
